BREAKING: NAWOJ gets new President

The National Association of Women Journalists (Nawoj),has New President
Aisha Ibrahim Bura from the Borno State chapter of (Nawoj).
Bura was elected on Saturday 24th November 2023 during the union’s 11th triennial delegates conference where she defeated Mrs Ladi Bala.
During the keenly contested election, Wasilan Ladan emerged National Secretary while Lillian Okonkwo was elected National Deputy President and Jamila Abubakar Chinwe has been elected as the National Auditor
All the new national executives of the NAWOJ have since been sworn-in at Dr. Maryam Babangida Women Centre, Abuja venue of the election.
