Governor Caleb Mutfwang of plateau state has debunked the rumors circulating on the social media that the state government has declared Monday and Tuesday 8th and 9th January 2024 respectively public holiday.
As the author of the said public holiday did not originate from the government non persons close , is the handwork of mischief makers.
The denouncement of the purported statement is contained in a press statement dated 7th January 2024 signed by the Director of press and Public Affairs to the state government and made available to our medium.
He urgued General Public to ignore the false press release as Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has NOT declared Monday and Tuesday, 8th and 9th January, 2024, as public holidays, contrary to what some unscrupulous elements are spreading online.
The public is advised to ignore the false rumours and remain steadfast in prayers for God’s divine intervention in the challenges facing the state.
The Government remains committed to partnering with law-abiding citizens for the advancement of development in the state.
