The Factional Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) , Plateau State Chapter , honourable Ishaya Itse has called on his supporters to remained calm and avoid taking law Into their hands because the case in question is pending in court.
Hon. Itse made the appeal while addressing his supporters in Jos 16th January,2023,over a Purported letter of expel from Jos Jarawa Ward of the All Progressive Congress APC.
The honourable chairman said APC is an organised Party that is founded on the rules of law, and follow due process in its activities ,so the letter for his expel from the party is non and void of no effect which fall short of the laid down rules and guidelines of the party to expel any erring member.
He further said the person that alleged to have signed the letter which they claimed expelling him from APC at the ward level is Senior Special Assistant(SSA) to the Governor Simon Bako Lalong attached to the office of Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Danladi Atu which makes him an employee of the Government which is against the Constitution of the party.
Similarly, the person who is masquerading himself as the Chairman of the party at the ward level gave his name as one Mr Ishaya Ashom Azi is an impostor because he is an SSA to the Governor of the state.
Itse who is also member of the presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in plateau state, stressed that its obvious Danladi Atu and his co-traveller are behind the whole drama against my person because of trying to fight the injustice meted on me by the Party executives.
And called on Atu and his group to follow due process as its enshrined in the Constitution of APC in expelling any member or members instead of resulting to Self help.
He use the medium to call on the Executive Governor of plateau state Simon Bako Lalong, to use his dual power as Governor and the leader of the party at the state level and call Danladi Atu and his connivance to order to avoid further escalation of crisis bedevilling the party, particularly now that election is around the corner.
He reiterated his membership of APC, and will remained member of the party unless otherwise ,called on his supporters to remain calm and maintained status quo because the matter is in court , which is the only hope for common man and to avoid self pity and self help.
It would be recalled that few days ago a faceless group Purported to be Jos Jarawa APC Ward executives issues press release captioned”Jos Jarawa APC Ward executives expel Ishaya Itse from the party”.

He further add that I never envisage that the party, and anyone who associated with it will be abyssal failure with nothing to show for their representation as we are witnessing now under the party administration in the state ,and Nigeria in general.
He berated Lalong administration for lack of performance and renegade on his promises to turn the state around for the better under his watch as the governor of the state.
He gives a catalogue of the projects the Lalong administration vowed to accomplish as the governor of plateau State, but few months to 8 years of his two terms of his administration, non of these projects were actualized.
Under the watch of Lalong, the security situation in the state escalated, and the state is more divided than ever along religious line. Just recently ,he stressed , the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), saddled with the responsibility to supervise the fight against insecurity in the state was reported Kidnapped by Persons suspected to be bandits terrorising the state.
Recently, the governor Lalong was dragged before the state High Court sitting in plateau division for trying to mongage the state monument , Jos Main Market ,aka Taminus Market to foreigners for his selfish interest, the case he lost at court.
He promised to build police station at Gasishi in the Central zone of the state to fight against the incessant security breaches in the zone,as we speaks, nothing has been done regarding to that,as kidnapping for ransom and armed banditry continue to rear it ugly head in that axis and most parts of the state ,and the Lalong administration is more or less helpless.
“Yes l am APC yesterday who brought the party to power in 2015, today ,l am in PDP , which make me a human being bound to make mistakes. I am using this fora today as the Director General Atiku-Okowa Mutfwang-Piyo Campaign Council to beg the people Central Zone, by extension plateau people to vote for PDP to right the wrong I must had done in bringing APC upon the people of plateau state in 2015.”
Speaking, the immediate past Governor of plateau state, and senator of the 8th Assembly, Dara David Jonah Jang who is one of the leaders of the party in the state, adviced the people of plateau to tread with caution and vote for PDP candidates at all levels 5/5.
Senator Jang said voting for APC ,is indirectly the continuation of Lalong bad administration that if care is not taking,it will bring to end of plateau as a state ,so we shall not allow that to happen as far as we are still alive.
He further add that labour Party LP,on the other hand is not a choice either, but synonymous to APC and bird of the same feather that flew together.
Governor Jang stressed that the labour Party LP, is a break away from leprous part of APC , that is still controlled by Governor Bako Lalong,so voting for the party is the extension of Lalong reign.

State High Court sitting in Plateau division has ordered two Persons Mr Gabriel John ,and Bulus Mandor to purged themselves over the offences of Court Contempt the have committed.
The presiding Judge Justice A.Ashoms give the order in his ruling 13rd January 2023 in the case which boarded on traditional stool dispute brought before him which the two persons were defendant .
The Court in its Ruling /Judgment today in a Committal Proceeding brought against, Hon. Dayabu Garga (the incumbent Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council), Mr. John Gabriel Mallo, Mr. Bulus Mandor, Mr. Monday Adachin and Mr. James Yilnaan by Masok Malo, Malo Matawal and Enock Kamo, insisted that, Court Orders must be protected.
While ruling on the Attorney-General’s entering of a Nulle Prosecue in the matter, the Court which discountenanced the application of the A-G said, giving effect to it would make the Court naked and robbed of its power.
Hon. Justice Ashom, who took several hours in his judgment to distinguish between a Criminal Case and a Quasi Criminal Case, held that, the Committal case before him arose out of a Civil matter and the contempt is not against the claimants, but against the Court and its Orders which must be protected.RESPONDENTS
However, Mr. Monday Adachin (3rd Respondent) Hon. Dayabu Garga (the incumbent Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council) 4th Respondent, and Mr. James Yilnaan (5th Respondent) were set off the hook by the Court on the ground that, they were not directly linked to the act and contempt.DAWAM (ESQ)
While reacting to the ruling and judgment of Court, M. A. Dawam (Esq), Counsel for the Claimants/Judgment Creditors said, “This is victory for us once more and for Justice because, this is a reinforcement of judicial principles. It also reestablished the sanctity to the Orders of Court.
“It is a pointer that, nobody should temper with the positive Orders of Court and goes free. Beyond anything, we thought that this day will not come, but eventually despite the long period, today we have a judgment.
“There are two distinctive issues that we found very interesting and victorious. First, is the settlement in the ruling that the Plateau state Attorney General (A-G) to enter Nulle Prosecue in a Civil Matter, especially when the Contempt of the Orders of Court in Civil Matters are concerned.
“My lord, has painstakingly stated the position and the legal principle and beyond any else, it would have been otherwise very bad if the AG was allowed the power to stall or truncate the punishment that would have meted out to persons who are in contempt of the positive Orders of Court. but here, the court said, the judicial powers available to the court cannot be truncated by either the Legislature or the Executive.
“So, I am sure it has set parameters of engagement among the three arms of government with regard to the operations of the rule of law”.
You would recall that, the Attorney-General of Plateau State had filed a Nulle Prosecue to stop an ongoing quasi criminal proceeding in an alleged “Court Contempt” before the Plateau State High Court, presided over by Hon. Justice A. Ashom, in favour of, Hon. Dayabu Garga (the incumbent Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council), Mr. John Gabriel Mallo, Mr. Bulus Mandor, Mr. Monday Adachin and Mr. James Yilnaan.
During the course of adopting their written addresses before the Court, the Respondents through their Counsels, had urged the Court to give effect to the Nulle Prosecue filed by the Attorney General of the State.
The Counsels had cited Section 211, which in part reads as follows: “The Attorney General of a state shall have power: (a) to institute and undertake criminal proceedings against any person before any court in Nigeria other than a court-martial in respect of any offence created by or under any law of the House of assembly; (b)take over and continue any such criminal proceedings that may have been instituted by any other authority or person; and (c) discontinue at any stage before judgment is delivered any such criminal proceedings instituted or undertaken by him or any other authority or person”.
However, in his submission, S. S. Obende (Esq), Counsel to the Claimant Applicant/Judgment Creditor, leading other two Lawyers, while adopting his written address before the Court, had told the Court that, the criminal proceeding arose from a civil matter and therefore quasi in nature and that the Attorney-General has no powers anywhere to stop such proceedings, while also citing Section 211(1c) to backup.
He said, “In furtherance of the Application of the Claimant/Judgment Creditor, on the 1st of December, 2022, we filed a written address on a sole issue, which is whether the Attorney-General can enter a Nulle Prosecue on a Civil Matter?”
S. S. Obende, who told the Court that the Claimant filed a composite reply on point of Law, urged the Court to enter judgment in favour of the Judgment Creditor, saying that, “The A-G cannot exercise the powers conferred on him in section 211 to terminate the prosecution of Court Contempt in a Civil Matter”.
It is of note that, the Constitution in Section 211, added that, “The powers conferred upon the Attorney General of a state under subsection 1 of this section may be exercised by him in person or through officers of his department.
“In exercising his powers under this section, the Attorney General of a state shall have regard to the public interest, the interest of justice and the need to prevent abuse of legal process”.
You would also recall that, the contempt arose out of not giving effect(s) to the judgment and orders of the former Chief judge, Hon. Justice Dakwak (Rtd), in suit No: PLD/J/284/2001, which was between: Masok Mallo Tagbeng, Malo Matawal and Enock Kamo, who sued for themselves and on behalf the Dyak ruling house of Butura (and now judgment creditors) vs Bokkos LGC of Plateau State, Bokkos Local Government Traditional Council, Bureau for Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs, Plateau State, Joro Yak, Mr. Joseph Mahannan Dikop, Mr. Magit Mandik and Mr. Samuel M. Doy.
Barrister Gyang Zi the Candidate for Labour Party LP,in plateau state has said the overwhelming acceptance of the party in Plateau State , and Nigeria as a whole is because of the Choice, Qualities and acceptance of the candidates paraded by the party.
Promised that when he become Senator of the Federal ,he is going to do things differently as against the way the other past senators had been doing things with little or no results.
The LP federal lawmaker candidate for Jos South/East Constituency, barrister Gyang Zi made the promise in an interview with journalists during the celebration of 2023 Shere Jankassa festival of the Afizere Local Government of plateau state.
He said the sudden overwhelming acceptance of the labour Party LP, in the state and Nigeria as a whole is largely due to the choices, qualities, and above all, the anticident of the candidates of the party that cannot be compared with others from the other political parties in the state ,by extension Nigeria as a whole.
And added that when voted in as senate member,he will ensure that he constantly engaging his Constituent , which is going be the most important aspect of our style of governance that we are going to
take very seriously. He stressed that even in our appointments, the people will know that is not a business as usual, reiterated his commitment to carry everyone on board.
He further stressed that the acceptability of the labour party in the state is largely as a result of the calibers of candidates paraded by the the party from president , house of Assembly , Governship and Senatorial seat which distinguished the party from others contesting the position from other Parties. In addition , you look at the manifestoes of the party which has to do with the family, synonymous to unity.
Looking at the PDP Governorship Candidate in the state for example,
he is a lawyer but not Senior Advocate of Nigeria , compared to LP whose running mate Edward Pwajok is SAN, and the Governship candidate of our party professor Dakum has over One Thousand employee on his pay role as the chairman of Human Virology which is International connected.
When you talk of the presidential level, Peter Obi and his running mate are people who has make a mark in their various field of endeavours.
When you talk about me Gyang Zi,I am one of the successful lawyer in the state with a numbers of lawyers on my payroll.
These are reasons that differentiate the labour party from other parties parading themselves for the leadership position in the state, federal, and the presidency.
He promised his administration as senator and other labour party’s candidates will shun ethnicity, religious bigot, and will carry everyone along irrespective of your political, ethnic, religious background .
Zi said he is presently working hand in hand with the people ,and the signal receiving from them is clear indication that my cadidature is accepted .
Gyang Zi who intermarried with the daughter of Shere Jankasa said as part and parcel of the community it deemed it important to come and celebrate with the people who are his In- laws by virtue of marriage .

The party had made life difficult for common man on the plateau and Nigeria in general to the extent of asking ourselves if this is going to be the state , country we are going to leave for our generations.
We decided to purged ourselves today by doing the right thing so that posterity will not judge us and our generation, pleaded with the newly found family PDP, and asked for forgiveness as their earlier decisions to joined the broom cult is manipulation from their cultic World through hypnotism.
The numbers of decampees cut across all the local government which makes up the northern Zones of plateau, they includes:, Jos North, Bassa ,Jos East and Jos South.
The High Court sitting in Jos, plateau state Division has declined jurisdiction on the matter brought before it by aggrieved members of All Progressive Congress (APC),.
The group under the aegis of “Prospectives Delegates” has gone to court to charged the wrongful expunging of their names as delegates for the party 2022 delegates elections in the state.
Ruling if the court has jurisdiction to hear the matter, Justice Arun Ashoms ruled that the matter is Internal problem of the party, which is expected to be handled internally without allowed it to degenerate to full blowned legal squabble such as its now.
The ruling which was delivered on the 11th January 2023, Justice Arun Ashoms the presiding Judge, directed the parties in the matter to maintain status quo and go back with the view of reconcile the matter amicably as the court lack the jurisdiction to entertained the matter.
