Plateau North Re-Run Senatorial Election, Gyang Zi Says He Remain LP Candidate, Abdullahi Salihu Adam Is Impostor.

By, giwa alex, Jos

Barrister Gyang Zi of Labour Party (LP), Plateau State Chapter said he remains the sole candidate for plateau North Re-Run Senatorial district election under the platform of LP.

As he described Abdullahi Salihu Adam who claimed to be candidate of the party as an Impostor sponsored by unseen political distractors working round the clock with  their antics to frustrate his Senatorial ambition in the Re-run  election, and to cause confusion in labor party in plateau state that is hitherto becoming a threat to other self acclaimed largest political party not only in Nigeria , but Africa.

Zi was speaking in an interview with Journalists during the 59th Convocation of Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN), held at the college in Bukuru , Jos South local government area 24th November 2023.

He said contrary to the claim by the Impostor Abdullahi Salihu, which is obvious of being sponsored to distract the party and his candidature, he has make a formal report to the State Security Service SSS and Nigeria police in the state for an action, very soon the long arm of the law will catch up with him.

Further add that there are some people , in the like of Abdullahi Adam who stock in trade of craftiness as the only way they can achieve  political goal by going ahead to activate this type of craftiness that will not do him any good at the end.

Barrister Zi questioned how Adam hope to change the order of Appeal Court which directed for the Senatorial Re-run election when it was my name that come out after the first election.

Stressed that Ambassador Chris Giwa, candidate for All Progressive Congress (APC),filed action against me in the court challenging my election and that of Dr. Simon Mwadkwon for People Democratic Party (PDP), in turn l filed action both at the tribunal and Appeal court ,and Judgement was entered  in my favour .Asked how then he Abdullahi hope to change the judgement of the Appeal and put his name?

Re : Jang Advised Mutfwang To Resign And Handover To APC’s Nentawe Yilwada.

 By, giwa alex, Jos

Our attention has just been drawn to a publication purportedly issued by a certain Bulus Deme, who claims to be reporting for Vanguard Newspaper, where he alleged that Senator (Dr) Jonah David Jang advised Governor Caleb Mutfwang to resign, amongst other fabricated stories in what can be best described as daydreaming.  Interestingly, the so-called Bulus Deme does not exist in the Vanguard newspaper staff list.

We initially wanted to ignore the publication, believing strongly that readers would easily pick holes in the story and disregard the falsehood being deliberately peddled, knowing the integrity of the former governor and his love for democracy and good governance, which has been the hallmark of Barrister Caleb Mutfwang government since assuming office on the 29th of May, 2023 but for the misleading statement and the fact that some gullible readers will mistake it for truth. To avoid doubt, the entire write-up is completely false and only exists in the writer’s imagination.

Senator Jonah David Jang Vehemently denied the publication and it contents in a press statement dated 23rd November 2023 and signed by his media consultant Clinton Garuba and  made available to this Medium in Jos.

According to the statement we are not unaware of the devilish attempts to compromise the judiciary by forces of darkness who are bent on subverting the will of the Plateau people who freely voted for PDP in the last election and voted out the APC that spent eight years doing nothing in the interest of the plateau people but disparaged the very people they claimed to govern, shared our common patrimony amongst themselves, destroyed almost every good thing they inherited, almost made us second class citizens in our God-given land, it was indeed a complete wasted eight years.

It is absurd that anyone would even imagine that Senator Jang would ever think of advising Governor Caleb Mutfwang, who is raising the bar of governance to a new level, to hand over to a group of vampires whom the people of Plateau have rejected. It goes without saying that APC is bent on taking power through the back door. We believe our God never sleep nor slumber and will not allow us to return to Egypt as a state and people. Asking a Government that has spent only six months in government and has already surpassed the achievement of Lalong’s APC-led eight years government to resign is unthinkable.

Senator Jonah Jang, like other well-meaning lovers of democracy, is at a complete loss as to why the Appeal court took a decision that contradicts the 2023 electoral act and other decided cases by the Supreme Court. He believes that the judgement of Sunday, 19th November, is a total miscarriage of Justice, and as a firm believer in the judiciary, Senator Jang holds the belief that the highest court of the land will reverse this great injustice.

While Senator Jang does not support disparaging their lordships, as observed in the protest that greeted the previous judgements, we all saw how difficult it was for the judges to justify their positions and how hard they tried to explain their actions due to public outcry.

Senator Jang calls on the good people of Plateau State to remain peaceful and calm and channel their energies into praying to God. Yahweh will not fail us, and we trust in him alone.

Philip Shaibu Rubbishes The Office Of Deputy Governor, Closes The Gates For Future Opportunities For Incoming DGs.

Our Reporter

Hon. Philip Shuibu

_…he’s displayed a crass lack of incompetence, strategy, loyalty, calculation and tact_

Shaibu has no doubt, rubbished the exalted office of deputy governor; he has misused, abused privileges accrued the office, betrayed trust, he has popood on the sanctity of the office, dragged it on the ground, reduced the attractiveness attached to the office, making it uninteresting; with elements like Shaibu in the history books, a governor and his deputy will now have to watch their backs, suspicious of every move each party makes.

To have used non complimentary statements to describe the 7-year productive administration of Obaseki, the same government Shaibu serves as DG is the height of recklessness, incompetence and desperation.

What public sympathy does Shaibu intends to gain from his irrational dispositions?

Where and how did Shaibu get it wrong, could it have been his desperation to succeed Obaseki; could it have been his nocturnal engagements with opposition forces to outsmart the governor; it is a devilish, regrettable and unpardonable act that the deputy governor will forever carry on his neck like a tattoo, accompanying him everywhere he goes.

A spoon-fed deputy governor who, despite his boss’ magnanimity towards him, leveraged on his tall, impossible desire to be governor, failed in the coup against the Edo State Governor.

Shaibu experienced the greatest fortunes in his natural life under Obaseki; one time, he was acting governor, another time, he managed the IGRs of the 18 LGAs, he was in the forefront of the distribution of palliatives in the COVID era, under Obaseki, Shaibu now own more than 25 petrol station outlets across Edo State; he has vowed to use the proceeds from sales of petroleum products to prosecute his tall ambition in 2024.

Shaibu’s unorthodox and crass means to remain in Osadebey Avenue 2024 onward, is the greatest undoing by any deputy governor in Edo; Edo deputy governors from 1999, were loyal to their bosses; they never for once, moved on their bosses and never described their own administration with reckless, uncomplimentary statements.

It is unbelievable that Shaibu who was carried on the back by Obaseki all along, in the 2020 political war now rubbishes the office of deputy governor, closing the gates to future opportunities for incoming deputies; no doubt Shaibu has displayed a crass lack of incompetence, strategy, loyalty, calculation and tact in his tall and impossible request to govern Edo.
